PAYNE, JoAnne J, age 80, of Enon, Ohio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017, at her home, following a brief but difficult battle with cancer. She leaves her daughter, Carilee Sutton (Salina, Kansas); daughter and son-in-law Glendalee and Rusty Davis (Enon); grandchildren, Ryan and Christopher Jacobsen (Salina, Kansas), James Davis (San Diego, California), Sarah Davis (Enon), and Tyler Davis (Canton, Ohio); several great grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law Harley and Deanna Johnson (Mondamin,Iowa) . PAYNE, JoAnne J, age 80, of Enon, Ohio, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017, at her home, following a brief but difficult battle with cancer. She leaves her daughter, Carilee Sutton (Salina, Kansas); daughter and son-in-law Glendalee and Rusty Davis (Enon); grandchildren, Ryan and Christopher Jacobsen (Salina, Kansas), James Davis (San Diego, California), Sarah Davis (Enon), and Tyler Davis (Canton, Ohio); several great grandchildren, and a brother and sister-in-law Harley and Deanna Johnson (Mondamin,Iowa) . She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glenn D. Payne, and a son-in-law, John Sutton, both in 2015.She was a long time member of Grand Heights Baptist Church, Fairborn. During JoAnne's life she was a homemaker, administrative assistant, and a steadfast supporter of Glenn's military, government contracting, and teaching careers. She also took part in numerous volunteer activities. Together, JoAnne and Glenn enjoyed volunteering with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary on Lake Erie, and in their later years, followed their calling by traveling overseas to minister God's Word to the people of Papua New Guinea. JoAnne was dearly loved and she will be missed so very much. Memorial service, Grand Heights Baptist Church, 1611 Armstrong Road, Fairborn, Saturday, June 3, at 4pm.
